Richard A. Finkel

Mr. Finkel is the managing partner of Richard A. Finkel, Esq. & Associates, PLLC. He has a broad array of experience in all criminal matters including investigations, motion practice, trials and appellate work.  Mr. Finkel began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County where he rose to the level of Bureau Chief of the Economic Crimes and Arson Bureau, and the Civil Actions Bureau.  In 1985, Mr. Finkel moved to private practice specializing in criminal defense.  He has represented clients in high profile criminal matters and is considered a preeminent authority on the criminal justice system.


Mr. Finkel is admitted in all New York State Courts as well as federal courts in New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Kleinberg is an attorney of counsel at Richard A. Finkel, Esq. & Associates, PLLC.  He is a former Assistant District Attorney and has been a criminal defense attorney for over forty years.  He has tried numerous cases to verdict.  Mr. Kleinberg is admitted to practice in all New York State and federal courts and the United States Supreme Court.
